Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church highly esteems the worship of our Mighty God through musical expression. We believe that the Scriptures clearly teach that music is one avenue by which the human soul expresses its adoration and exaltation of God's work through His Son Jesus Christ.
"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 5:19-20).
"Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King. Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation" (Psalm 149:1-4).
Sanctuary Choir: On Sunday mornings, we are led in hymns and anthems by our choir. The goal of our robed choir, led by our Director of Music Stephanie Barnett-Sager, is to exalt the majesty of God through the great hymns of the Christian faith. Our choir practices every Wednesday Night at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary after the Pastor's Study, as well as Sunday mornings at 10:00am. If you are interested in singing in the choir, please contact Stephanie. The choir always welcomes new members!
Praise Band: Faith Church is also led in worship by our Praise Band. The praise band exists to exalt God through the freeing worship of contemporary praise music. The Praise Band is led by our Choir Director, Stephanie Sager. The praise band utilizes the contemporary stylings of piano, guitars, drums, voilin and accompanying vocalists.
Bell Choir: Faith Church also utilizes a bell choir from time to time. The bell choir rings their tones of grace for special occasions such as cantatas, and occasionally on Sunday mornings. You may be surprised at how easy learning to play the bells really is!
