Dave Franklin
Pastor Emeritus
 

Dave's passion is for the lost and hurting. Through congregational care teams and individual contacts, Dave's goal is to let all members and regular attendees know God's love for them, and the need for their own involvement in the life of the church. Dave has a BS in Criminology from Florida State University, a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Rollins College, and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. He has over 30 years of experience as an investigator for the State of Florida.

Dave enjoys hunting, playing guitar and telling people about Jesus.

Anthony Alonso
Executive Pastor
 

Anthony Alonso joined the staff of Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in January 2017.  Anthony serves in both administrative and ministry endeavors.  Anthony was ordained, on November 5, 2017, and is now our Executive Pastor.  Anthony graduated from the University of Florida in 2007, and in 2012 he added his Master of Divinity degree received from Reformed Theological Seminary- Orlando.  He has been involved in ministry on the college campus, in local churches and the last four years at the US Dream Academy as manager of the mentoring program recruiting, training and supporting their volunteers.  Anthony is administratively gifted and pastorally driven.

John Cleveland
Director of Youth Ministry

John Cleveland is a graduate of Trinity College of Florida with a degree in Biblical Studies and is currently musing his master's degree from Knox Theological Seminary.  John actually grew up in the youth ministry here at Faith Church as a student, leader, and later, a staff member.  He considers it a huge privilege and blessing to be able to minister in the same place where he came to know the Lord.  

John and his wife, Sara were married in 2015. John also teaches a Christian karate

class at Faith Church on Tuesdays for all ages.

Stephanie Barnett-Sager

Director of Music

Besides being an excellent vocalist, trained at the highest levels in New York City, Stephanie also holds the responsibility of directing our musical program ministries. A highly-respected opera singer, Stephanie is married to Jason and has one child, Bob. Her vocal range is unparalleled and is perfectly suited for her role of not only directing the choir, but also yielding her own voice to the glory of God.

Katherine Witherell

Pianist  

Katherine loves playing, singing, and writing songs to the Lord. She has taught piano to people of all ages, played in praise bands, and accompanied friends and family on the piano. She now enjoys alternately singing with and accompanying the Faith Church choir. She is a homeschool graduate who went on to study Spanish at Liberty University. She loves serving the Lord together with her husband Andrew and raising their beautiful children, Esther and Drew.

Sharon is taking over the role of Director of Children's ministry. She comes to us with tons of experience working with children from the Methodist School.  Sharon, she is an amazing person, a sun-shiny personality, and a joy to be around. Welcome Sharon!

Lisa Carter
Nursery Director

Lisa, our Nursery leader ministers to the "little ones that come to Faith church. Her role is to ensure that the nursery has the supplies necessary to accomplish the vision God has given to them. There are many ways in which this ministry is a blessing to those who come, so there are many details that Lisa oversees including coverage of volunteers in the nursery, supplies, and recruit volunteers, periodic "deep cleaning of the toys to keep the nursery clean and healthy.

Rev. Greg Gunn
Lead Church Planter, Providence Church


With 20+ years of ministry experience, Greg Gunn has a finely honed perspective on the needs of teens, parents, and children.

Through his unique program of leadership development, Greg has trained countless people to become powerful witnesses for the Lord. Greg's gifts of encouragement and inspiration, combined with his exceptional vision and problem-solving skills, combine for a powerful, dynamic ministry.

In 2012, Session entrusted Greg with the responsibility of the early formation of a new church plant in the Spring Hill area. Providence Church is now 5 years old.

Greg has a BA in education and a Master's degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty Theological Seminary. He has traveled extensively throughout Australia, South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Russia. Greg has been a martial arts instructor for the past 24 years and is Senior Instructor for the Community Christian Karate Club.

He is married to Aimee, and has three children, Hannah, Caleb and Caitee Grace.

Audrey Horrocks
Financial Administrator 
      

Audrey is our Financial Administrator. This is quite a challenging job! It is her work to make sure that Faith Church does the best job possible being responsible for the giving that our members do for the sake of the Kingdom. Working closely with the session and the treasurer, Audrey makes sure the bills are paid, and works diligently to make sure the missionaries, staff, and facilities are funded. 

 

 

Karen Waterfield
Administrative Assistant

Karen is the friendly voice on the other side of the desk or the phone! A native of England, Karen brings cultural savvy and a kind touch to the administrative end of Faith Church's ministry. 

 

 

Chris Carpenter
Housekeeping 

Chris works diligently to make sure that our facilities are clean and tidy! He works just as hard or harder than any other staffer or member, even though he is very often "behind the scenes." 

 

 

Chuck Pederson
Church Sexton

A new position has been created at Faith church. Chuck joins us as keeper of keys, doors, and locks. The new sexton will help to open and close the building at night, as well as to prepare and set up equipment for worship services and rental groups. Welcome Chuck!
