What to Expect on Sunday Mornings

Welcome to Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church!

Sunday Morning: 10:30am. Wednesday Night: 6:00 pm.

As the pastor of Faith Church, it is my privilege to welcome you to this website. I hope that you will find in this location a volume of information that will be useful to your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, including sermon audio, and more! Let me take a few minutes today to introduce you to our church. To do so, I will simply use the title of our congregation as an outline:

Faith At Faith Church, we look to a Sovereign God who is Creator and Lord over all things. We recognize that, because of our sin, human beings cannot approach God on our own terms. We cannot win His approval. In short, we look to God in faith through our Lord Jesus Christ whom He gave to us as our Redeemer and Lord. As the Bible says, "By grace you were saved, through faith”and this is not from ourselves”it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Evangelical As a body of believing Christians, we here at Faith Church endeavor to be a cross-centered congregation. Because of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done on our behalf, namely dying a sacrificial death to atone for our sins, our great mission is to proclaim the "evangel the good news of new life through His blood! As an evangelical church, we preach and teach the Bible, God's holy, authoritative, and infallible Word. Moreover, our great goal is to exalt the resurrected Christ and preach the gospel of His name to the whole world.

Presbyterian Faith Church is an elder led church, historically, connected to the Reformed branch of the Christian family tree. We trace our identity as confessing believers back to the Reformation of the 1500's and beyond. There, we confidently link ourselves to one of the greatest revivals in the history of the world. We find vast inspiration in the writings of John Calvin, Martin Luther, John Knox and many others, as well as the Westminster Confession of Faith of 1647.

Church Yet more than that, we strive today to be a loving church, a grace-filled community of called and committed followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. To be united as one, we depend entirely on the Holy Spirit who binds us together, fills our worship, and empowers us in our mission and ministry in the world.

In all things the passion of our hearts is to rejoice in the greatest treasure of all”the glory of God! Come join us in our worship and mission!

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Matthew Everhard
